Warning: Case notes detail post-mortems in all their goriness.
These coroner case notes contain statements of witnesses, suspects, and experts (such as surgeons who performed the post-mortems), as well as inquest notes on series of murders in 1880 though 1881. Please remember: this is Victorian London. There was no DNA fingerprinting. Heck! No one even dusted for “normal” fingerprints back then!
This archive forms the basis of one of the cases in Keeper of Pleas.
